Atypical & Awesome “So Much Everything As Always”
I honestly don’t know where to begin. First, all is well. Our family is warm, safe, and mostly happy. But boy, there is a lot going on. We have one leaving the nest and one getting ready to nest with us temporarily. We are rolling with the punches and going with the flow. It’s what we do and we’ve gotten pretty good at it.
I am deep into work and grad school. We are getting the house ready for the changes coming this week. Phillip and I are going to Birmingham to see Tool on Friday and we have comedy Saturday night of we have any energy left. A LOT going on.
Last night, we went out for a nuce dinner and to see our buddy and fellow songwriter, Dustin Herring perform at Corks and Cattle in Enterprise. It was a special night and he performed, “Roll Tide” which is one of my favorites of his. Definitely look it up- it may not be what you think.
Speaking of Roll Tide, my friend Angela made the cutest oatmeal cream pie truffles for me to commemorate the retirement of Coach Saban. Yes, we’re still grieving but these should help take the sting out.
Well, I’m currently waiting in a parking lot on a child to released from a Saturday event. Have a wonderful weekend everyone, Roll Tide (seriously, look it up).
