Atypical & Awesome “Sunny Sundy”

Yesterday was nuts. We had nasty weather and lost power for fourteen hours. I am so grateful for our linemen and women who risk their lives to take care of us and praise glory, our power is back on and the sun is out today.

I’ve been pretty busy- I sang in church, wrote lyrics for two new songs and laid down a rough melody for one. I did an impromptu photo shoot in our backyard (pics below) and also practiced for the upcoming Bob Dylan bday show. Also, I have been listening to a healthy serving of George Strait today. Man, I love real country music and it just motivates me to write better when I hear amazingly written songs. Can we please bring real country back? I miss it so much. Have a beautiful Sunday!
