Atypical & Awesome “Full Steam Ahead”

Saturday was a full day around here- football, corn chowder, visits with family, and Reagan’s first Homecoming dance. Plus, it was the first day of fall- the autumn equinox one of my favorite days of the year.

The week ahead is jam packed. Tuesday night- 6:30 pm Idle Hour in Andalusia for their first comedy night! There will be several of us from the Wiregrass Comedy group performing plus some special guests so come on out and let’s make this a regular thing!

Wednesday night- Happy Times in Ozark for Comedy Night! We are there the last Wednesday of the month and we sure hope you leave happy! 7 pm

Friday night- Hoobler Music Enterprise Open-Mic 7 pm. I think I might perform if I can find someone to accompany me. My keyboard got struck by lightning so we’ll see.

Sunday night- Cisco’s Bourbon & Cigar Club- open-mic poetry. I look forward to checking this out for the first time this week and sharing some of my more adult-themed work.

Busy week, plus work, grad school, and family stuff. Also, keep your eyes open for Frank Fletcher’s new single, “Cold, Dark Lonely “ written by Frank Fletcher, Ben Byrd, Wesley Brown, and AMPS’ own, Dennis Powell! It drops Oct. 6!
