Atypical & Awesome “Traditions and Transitions”

The kids are home and this mama’s heart is happy. Autumn is home as she prepares to enter “the real world” and Conner is home for the summer. Phillip has a few rare days off (on the weekend!) so we are enjoying family time. He spent hours putting together a new basketball goal for Reagan who made the school’s basketball team this week. We are super proud and excited. I guess I am gonna end up being a sports mom, afterall. This is foreign territory for me-lol. We have a lot of transitions going on- all good things, too- just keep us in your thoughts and prayers. Personally, I have tons of music stuff going on with writes, events, and cuts on the horizon so that keeps my heart beating! Finally, yesterday was May 1-May Day- one of my favorite days of the year so we had our traditional strawberry cake. Strawberry cake just makes me happy and seems a good homage to spring and May :) Happy Sunday, friends- may your day be filled with things that make your heart smile!
