“Mardis Gras, Comedy, and Valentine’s”

We’ve had lots of revelry the past few days. Saturday, we took Quinn and Reagan to a Mardis Gras parade in Mobile. We caught beads, cups, a rubber chicken, and even a couple of blue moon pies. Then we took the girls to a trampoline park and Phillip and I both realized we are not as young as we used to be. Let’s just say I’m grateful for Ibuprofen.

Tuesday night, we had comedy open-mic at The Social on Main in Enterprise. Another successful night with a nice size crowd. I tried out all new material. Be sure to catch C& P soon! We will be at Happy Times in Ozark on Feb.24.

I am also planning to do Open-mic at Hoobler Music this Friday. I will be singing a special song in honor of a special friend. I might even have a special accompanist.

I have a lot of music things going on with cuts coming out, cowrites being scheduled, and big moves going on with AMPS. Like I always say, stay tuned.

Finally, we have been celebrating love all week. We’ve had a beautiful Valentine’s week here. I love Valentine’s as ai am a hopeless romantic. We have hearts everywhere right now. Phillip and I lit a candle and ate heart shaped pizza last night as we watched “Sleepless in Seattle”. I told him it is on my bucket list to recreate the closing scene one year. We have a date to meet at the top of the Empire State Building one day soon. If it just happens to be on Valentine’s Day, well, that will be the icing on the cake. Happy Love to all of you!
