Atypical & Awesome- “Saban to Sick”

Welp, I am down for the count. My third bout of Covid was confirmed yesterday and this has been the toughest one, yet. I’m trying to rest and hydrate but it’s rough. I am grateful for meds and the ability to take off work when necessary, although I rarely do.

Today was a big day. Our youngest turned sixteen- hard to believe. Plus, we had crazy weather all day. Tornadic conditions mixed with my Covid led to less than stellar celebrating but we will make up for it as soon as things improve (hopefully, this weekend).

But before I got sick, we did make it to Tuscaloosa for the game. It was Phillip’s first time attending a night game at Bryant-Denny. And… we were there when the field was dedicated to Coach Saban and named officially, Saban Field.

It has been a busy few weeks so I guess some mandatory rest is truly what the doctor ordered. I am disappointed to miss out on some fun events but unfortunately, my body had other plans. Stay safe and well everyone- and wash your hands! You do not want this I assure you.
