Atypical & Awesome “COVID”

Well, my husband and I tested positive for COVID on Wednesday morning. We are both fully vaccinated. We went immediately to the hospital and received monoclonal infusions. I have had flu-like symptoms which have been transient. Phillip has had minimal symptoms- primarily headaches and lethargy. We are homebound for a while. I have been working on songs and tonight painted for the first time in a kong time. I am very grateful our experience has been better than many. We are able to order groceries and my mother has done done porch drop offs of needed items. Thankfully, the three kids at home tested negative. We are keeping an eye on them for any developing symptoms. I hate missing work- I’m a workaholic and I had just returned from vacation. But again, I’m counting our blessings. This isn’t how I had planned to spend Halloween weekend but it is much better than being in a hospital bed. I have my fall candles lit and we are watching countless paranormal shows as well as cooking shows. Stay well, friends.
