Atypical & Awesome “I’ll Take It”
It’s Thanksgiving week- one of the busiest of the year in mental health. I worked really hard leading up to today so I’m hoping my last two work days of the workweek are smooth… maybe. Sapphire, however does not understand that I can sleep in a little because the kids don’t have school this week. She’s been an army sergeant coming in here every five minutes getting all in my face making sure I’m up-lol
It’s all good. I’m under my heated blanket drinking cinnamon coffee. Chicken tortilla soup is in the crock pot which I prepped last night. Also last night. i had an impromptu cowrite with my girl, Jessica Lavallee from Canada. It got me thinking about dreams and pursuing things. I truly regret not moving to NYC right after high school. Unfortunately. I listened to a lot of “dream crushers” back then. But I guess things work out like they are supposed to. My kids have the liberty to literally do anything, anywhere. Seeing Autumn flourish in NY makes my heart sing. It’s too late for me (in some ways) but she’s in her prime and it’s her time to shine. I’ll take it. Boy, am I enjoying the view.
