Atypical & Awesome “New cut, Interview, and Mama Mia”

I took off early from the day gig yesterday for a few much needed mental health hours and to prepare for an online interview. I decided to treat the family to doughnuts, myself to coffee, and one of those widely discussed “adult” Happy Meals from McDonalds. I was “not loving” the price- yikes. Granted, I don't buy a lot of fast food so maybe I am out of the loop. Well, alrighty!

I had an interview with Pan Orea and it was delightful. We talked music, songwriting, and creativity so definitely check it out. Pan Orea has a lot of things going on and makes a great host. It was a honor to be on her show.

Okay- cut news. Canadian artist Tianna Woods is releasing “Country Girls Rock” on Oct.24! This was written by David Wagner and Greg Fritsche. I am a publisher on the song through Awesome Musings Publishing (BMI) along with Second City Publishing. This is the second time we’ve had a cut with this one. Ashley Baker cut this one around 10 years ago and waa my first cut as a publisher. We’re wishing Tianna great success and know she will rock it ;)

I have a super busy day- a Mama Mia themed wedding shower followed by a few hours at work and then college football (Roll Tide!) and grad school work. Have a wonderful Saturday everyone!
