Atypical & Awesome “I’ve Always Wanted To”

Last night, we did it. Phillip and I crossed something off our bucket lists- we did stand-up! Phillip had one prior experience and he wanted to give it another shot. A friend of ours started up a local comedy open-mic and we decided to jump in on opening night. It went well overall and we learned a lot. The crowd was much bigger than expected so my voice got a little shakey at times but whew! we made it. We are already thinking about next time. I really want to do Improv so this was a good Segway. Phillip and I definitely have our adventures!
