Atypical & Awesome “Home and Hearth”

The kids are home from college for the Thanksgiving break and my heart and home are full. We have cooked together, eaten way too much, spent time together talking and watching movies- it’s been wonderful. Phillip and I went to church this morning where I sing in the choir (front row soprano lol). I love going to church and I love holding my husband’s hand while we pray. This afternoon, we snuck off and did a little Christmas shopping. A home cooked meal is in the oven. Life can get crazy, life can get scary, and stressful, and overwhelming. But these are the moments. The special ones that are often too fleeting. I cherish them. I am blessed beyond my understanding but I am grateful.

Dinner in the oven- I use my oven A LOT when the kids are home- lol
