Atypical & Awesome “Those Were the Best Days of My Life”

Working out to the 80’s this morning while the gym plays a commercial about a dvd set about classic SNL episodes. Man, what a time period for raw creativity. I was a young sprite back then but I was obsessed with the music and style of the time. I was over-the-top obsessed with Boy George and was convinced I would one day marry the drummer of Culture Club, Jon Moss. Imagine my shock (not really) when I learned a few years ago that George and Jon had a torrid yet, romantic relationship during the height of their fame- goshdarnnit. Oh well, easy come, easy go, I’ve always enjoyed Boy George’s sarcasm and cutting wit. Also, his music is very under appreciated- he has crazy talent which gets overlooked . What a time. Man, Cyndi Lauper, The Pretenders, Eurythmics. MJ, Springsteen- and all those one hit wonders. What were some of your favorites?
