Atypical & Awesome “Crawdads, Corn Dogs, and Candles”

Today has been great. Woke up at 5:30 am and wrote a complete song and then fell back to sleep. Had leftover pizza for breakfast, made two kinds of chicken salad, and then Phillip and I headed to Ozark for the Crawdad Food and Music Festival. Met up with our girl, Alice Nelson and her dad and had a blast promoting Alice and talking shop. I actually tried a teeny piece of crawfish (nope, not for me!) Phillip bought me kettle corn and a corn dog from the Corn Dog Man (if you know, you know). We listened to some great local music and basically acted afool- it was great. We came home and I lit candles and watched the last half of “Dirty Dancing” for the umpteeth time. Phillip bought me a variety of Easter candy and I am currently falling asleep in my recliner ar 8:30 pm- it has been a good day ❤️
