Atypical & Awesome “Special”

I am struggling- my tooth situation is miserable. However, I wanted to pop in a share some really special moments which occurred over the weekend. First, both college kids came home which made this mama’s heart so full. Friday night, we ate copious amounts of pizza and just hung out.
Saturday, I had to work but Saturday night we ate with my parents, niece, and nephew. My dad fried fish and thanks to my parents both receiving both doses of the COVID vaccine we were able to breathe a little easier.

Sunday, I participated in the Kimono My House 1 Year Birthday Celebration. My tooth pain was tolerable until after the show and I am grateful for that. I will post a link to the show. It is always nice to be in the company of kindred spirits even if it is only online.

Last night, we got Chinese takeout, a few pies for “pi” day, and watched the Grammys There were some really special moments during the show: Bruno, Harry, the memorials, etc. But the sweetest moment was seeing Taylor Swift win for Album of the Year for “Folklore”. “Folklore” and “Evermore” have been so special to Autumn and me. It is something we have been able to share and enjoy together- it truly is special. Bonding over shared love of a particular artist or work- nothing like it.
