Atypical & Awesome “COVID- Again”

Well, I have COVID again but this time I am sick, sick and it feels more like the flu. I absolutely refuse to get political or allow it on any of my pages or social media platforms so please be respectful. I have been vaccinated twice (Moderna) and avoided COVID until Oct. 2121. I worked non-stop in the midst of it. (Not to the extent of nurses but still had exposure at work due to working in a facility). First experience with COVID, I was able to get the antibody infusion immediately and for the most part, my symptoms were mild- no fever but a lot of lethargy. This time- high fever, night sweats, burning throat, exhaustion- it truly feels like the flu. No infusions are available now :( Due to my chronic health history, i was offered the investigative antiviral drug, Paxlovid but due to the amount of drug interactions, I am on the fence. My physician stated she could neither recommend or not recommend it as it is too early to have an evidence based opinion. She did state it is FDA approved and wrote a prescription for me. I am an evidence and research based person so, I like having data from reputable (that means academic grounded) sources. Anyway, just pray for everyone sick right now. If you are sick yourself, be informed- make decisions with your healthcare provider. take vitamins, wash your hands, and try to limit your contact with others if you can do so. Love you all.
