Atypical & Awesome “Coffee Shop Poets”
“Together We Rhyme” was a smashing success last night. Mural City Coffee Company was packed to the gills and a crop of regular and new presenters took on the mic to offer poetry and prose. Patrick Pezelj and Lexi Rabren did a great job hosting and organizing the event. It is so inspiring to see how much creative energy is in our community. Be sure to keep an eye out for future events such as these!
I’ve been writing a lot this week and wrote a brand new song “Train to Brooklyn” which I posted a rough snippet of on FB so check it out.
