Blue Plate Blog Episode 24- “Sunday Morning Brew and Stew”

I am up rocking new songs and the crock pot this morning. I think I might have written my favorite song last night. I let it “stew” last night and got up this morning and worked on it some more. I am not one of those “last song I wrote is my favorite“ kind of writers. I try to make each song I write special and something to be proud of- but this one- yeah, it is different. Gave me chills. But so does the flu so I guess only time will tell if the feeling was right.

Speaking of stew, I put the “fixings” for a chicken stew in the crock pot this morning. I am a girl who loves her crock pot. Autumn and I did a tour of farm markets yesterday and stocked up on produce. Such fun- I love perusing the bounty and pretty findings at a farmer’s market. Try it out if you have not. We bought green beans, tomatoes, peaches, an orange, an onion, fresh corn, strawberries, lettuce, and a watermelon. Then I promptly fed the kids chicken fingers and fries- lol!
