Atypical & Awesome “Scones and Songs”

Had a beautiful night last night. My sweet Autie B accompanied me to a songwriters showcase at a quirky coffeehouse in a neighboring town. We had caramel lattes, shared a blackberry champagne scone, and many laughs and smiles. My uber talented 17 year old cowriter, Alice Nelson played 7(!) of our cowritten songs. I’m super proud of Alice and the work we are doing. Get ready- this girl is going places. I was on that writer’s high when I got home. Getting to hear songs I have helped create come to life is sheer joy for me. That excitement combined with the caffeine from the coffee kept me up way later than I needed so I am tired tonight!
