Atypical & Awesome “Sunday Funday and Super Big Week Ahead”

Coffee, cinnamon rolls, and the Golden Girls. I’ve got chicken and veggies cooking in the crock pot to go into homemade pot pies later. I may decorate for Easter today and maybe paint. Tonight, I’m sitting in with NSAI- LA via zoom so I am looking forward to that:) Tomorrow, in addition to working the day gig, I start my next term in school. We have a busy, BUSY week as Alex prepares to move to Montgomery. My heart. Another of my babies leaving the nest. The tears keep coming but I’m a proud mama!

One week from today, we’ll be at the Opp Rattlesnake Rodeo where Alice Nelson will be performing several of our cowrites including, “Girlfriend” and her new single, “Here Comes the Rain” which we wrote with Dennis Powell. She and Robert Reardon have worked hard to get it recorded and can’t wait to share the final product with the world. The Alice Nelson Band will be opening for Diamond Rio on Sunday so we are super excited!

The very next morning we head to Birmingham to board a train for NYC! The train will be a new experience for us so we are looking forward to it. Stay tuned for lots of pictures and more news, I’m sure!
