Atypical & Awesome “More than An Average Monday”

Have had a nice little burst of music activity over the past couple of days. Sunday, I participated as part of the St Luke Chancel Choir in two Cantatas. Then, Sunday evening had a great write with Kristan Mikala and we knocked out a really lovely Christmas tune, “Must Be Christmas” which she’ll showcase at a special Christmas show in Nashville later this week. Last night, Phillip and I attended Darrell Qualls’ Songwriter Showcase at Bugsy’s to support a few friends. Branton Spivey, Darrell Mason Perkins, and even I sat in for a Christmas song or two. One day soon, I’ll take my keyboard and play some originals. While there, I reveived messages from my dear friends Dennis and Marianne Powell. The Frank Fletcher Band was playing a set at Whiskey Jams at Winners Bar in Nashville. They played a couple of Dennis’s songs which are represented through my publishing company, AMPS. Congratulations to Frank and the band, Dennis, and alll involved :) Monday turned out to be pretty cool :)
