Atypical & Awesome “Life Moves On”
It’s “that” week- one of the most magical of the year. The week of endings and completions and the anticipation of new beginnings. Graduations, Everywhere. For the first time in a while, we don’t have a kid graduating although Reagan is finishing up middle school. Somehow, Phillip and I have made it through three high school and four college graduations during our time together. Next year, if the good Lord is willing, we’ll have a couple more. It’s crazy to think Autumn and Alex both made it through high school, graduated from The University of Alabama, and are now out on their own- one in NYC and one in Montgomery. To say I am proud is a huge understatement.
Life moves on. I, too, am making big decisions about my future and some decisions I am allowing life to make for me. Some doors I am allowing to close and I am stepping through the doors which seem to be opening more easily for me these days. I’m no longer beating a dead horse. I’m riding a new pony and smiling- a lot. Sometimes, you just have to go with the flow. That can be tough for my highly structured and organized self but sometimes you just have let go and let God. Life moves on. Enjoy the ride.
