Atypical & Awesome “Tattered”

Thank you for the positive birthday wishes, yesterday. It wasn’t an easy day and now is not an easy time. But even still, knowing I have sweet friends makes it easier. I have friends experiencing unbelievable pain and heartbreak this week. The loss of a child. The loss of long-term employment. Life is incredibly hard. I, too have my burdens but they seem insignificant in comparison.

Even in my personal “storms” there is sunshine. Alex is having a great time visiting Autumn in New York and that makes my heart so happy. I love to see my kids thriving and enjoying life. I think all parents want that for their kids.

I could use some prayers and good vibes, though. I feel like I walked from a hurricane into a tornado. So much change at one time. It is dizzying. I really fo appreciate you and hope your storms in life, whatever they are pass quickly.
