Atypical & Awesome “All About Aesthetics”
One of the ways I manage stress is through taking care of my sensory needs. Tomorrow, I return to work after a 10 day quarantine due to COVID. I had also just returned to work from my once a year week long vacation when I tested positive. Therefore, I’m a little stressed about tackling the heap of work which awaits. I know I will manage and am so grateful to the assistance my coworkers provided while I was out. But tonight, I’m doing some self-care. Hot jasmine tea, my fuzzy slippers, a cozy blanket, mindless tv, and candles with string lights. We all have different things that comfort us. I hope wherever you are tonight you are taking care of yourself in a healthy and nurturing way.
