Atypical & Awesome “My Fair Ladies”
I made it back to the day gig Friday and moved into my new office which is exciting. Halfway through my workday, I found out I received reserved seating (2nd row) for Randy Houser’s concert at the National Peanut Festival. We were planning to attend the festival as a family to support Alice Nelson in her performances Saturday afternoon. Because Phillip and I are “coming off Covid” I knew my stamina would be limited. Thus, I gifted my seats to Alice as a belated 18th bday present for her which THRILLED her. She did a great job in her sets and we are THRILLED to announce “Girlfriend” cowritten by the two of us will be released November19-woohoo! Phillip, the kids, and I had fun at the fair but I am not as young as I used to be. I am WORN OUT today. I am still in my pj’s at 4 pm and everything hurts. I’m trying to rest up for my 6 day work week ahead. I did write a lyric first thing this morning which I forwarded to a cowriter. Otherwise, I’ve been keeping the recliner down and taking Ibuprofen. Hope you’re having a great day wherever you may be today.
