Blue Plate Blog Episode 13- The Heat is On

Entree: When did I get old? Phillip got me a “heated blanket” for our anniversary and I am trying it out for the first time. Growing up we used “electric blankets” year round and I loved mine. I can already tell I am going to love this- oh yes, oh my,yes- my poor aching body- yes. He has also gifted me a neck massager and heating pad in the past- I sense a theme. My body has a lot of aches and pains due to a chronic illness and Phillip is continuously trying to make me comfortable- he is a sweetheart.

First side: Had a great write yesterday with a fifteen year old artist. I was blown away not only by his talent but his professionalism. I’m reminded of the song “Teach Your Children”- someone taught this young man VERY well.

Second side: I’m writing this episode a little early due to today being a travel day for me. Taking the college kids back to Tuscaloosa to clean out my son’s dorm and allow my daughter to pick up her summer clothes from her apartment. No one knew when they came home for Spring Break it would be until August!

Dessert: Prayers for a very special person who is having surgery today (Weds.), please. Also, Sapphire is loving the heated blanket as well! She is on top of my legs with no sign of moving anytime soon!
