Atypical & Awesome “Sweet Sunday”

We’ve had a productive, yet peaceful weekend. i worked hard yesterday on grad school work and knocked out a major paper that was due today. Phillip and I had a rare few nights at home. We did go to Geneva today and visited my parents who were working at the River Festival (my father’s 46th year on the festival board). Phillip and I bought Italian ice from the band and a couple of corn dogs from another vendor as we walked around a bit. They had a nice crowd for a Sunday. We had to drop off something at my parents’ and were able to visit with two of my sisters. i also heard from both Autumn and Alex. Reagan went to church with a friend and Michael got to hang out with some of his friends. I cooked us a good dinner and now we are gearing up for the week ahead. It’s been a sweet Sunday- I’ll take it.
