Atypical & Awesome “Stay At Home Cat Mom”

I’m loving this week and have been seriously pondering how I can do this full-time. I’m loving being more accessible to “home” including Saffy and the kids. I can definitely see the appeal of working from home.

Even though I’m on “vacation”, I’m still being productive. I ‘ve had a few cowrites, got feedback on a track an artist is putting the vocals on, and have been networking. “Here Comes the Rain” performed by Alice Nelson and written by Alice, Dennis Powell , and myself is up for a Josie Award this weekend for Country/Country Rock Song of the year. Produced by Robert Reardon, we are all proud of it and honored to be a nominee.

Comedy-wise- a LOT going on! Two big shows next week- Happy Times in Ozark on Wednesday where I will be hosting some of the area’s funniest comics! You never know who’s gonna show up but Phillip, Spud, Corey & Justin, will be there as well as Alabama’s oldest touring comic, Jeff Corso! Saturday night, we are burning down downtown Geneva with our first ever Halloween show at QB’s Bar and Grill. Costumes and tomfoolery will be involved- and wings- so it’s a win-win!

Friday night (Oct.27) is Hoobler Open-Mic where I may try out a new song or two and Sunday (Oct.29) is ooen-mic poetry night at Cisco’s Bourbon and Cigars here in Enterprise. I look forward to participating in and supporting both of these events!
