Atypical & Awesome “Back from the Beach”

Phillip and I enjoyed a few days at Orange Beach with family. I would not be surprised nor disappointed if we end up living there one day, I think it may be my favorite local(ish) beach. It is just so gorgeous and not overly crowded . We had a few nights of good good and fellowship so it was a special time.

Today is a big day ‘round here. A song I cowrote with Alice Nelson and Dennis Powell is up for “Song of the Year” in Southern/Country Rock at the Josie Awards. Always fun to be recognized so we shall see how it goes. If you haven’t already, make sure you check out “Here Comes the Rain” by Alice Nelson on all streaming platforms.

Also, we have two big comedy shows this week starting on Wednesday at Happy Times in Ozark and Saturday night at QB’s in Geneva. Also, Friday night is Hoobler Open-Mic and Sunday night is poetry open-mic at Cisco’s Bourbon and Cigars! A totally fun week ahead so be sure to join us!
