Atypical & Awesome “Just About Perfect”

For the first time in three months, our family shared a home cooked meal at home under the same roof. It was simple and wonderful. Alex and Autumn (Phillip joined in later) took a walk with me after dinner. There was conversation and just moments of soaking up our time together. Autumn has a few more days with us before returning to New York. I am cherishing now.

Tomorrow, Reagan has her first school dance. She has an adorable dress and shoes and Autumn will do her hair and makeup. They have plans to get coffee this weekend. Their relationship is a very sweet thing.

Michael is two weeks from his high school graduation. Almost hard to believe. I met Michael on his 10th birthday. I have literally seen him grow up. Time just moves so fast.

I’ve had some good music news today so that made the evening even sweeter. Things have been hard lately so on nights like this, I cherish every bit of sweetness. Honeysuckle is in the air and the smell of fresh cut grass says summer is nearly here. We are in the small window of time between hot and too hot. Life is good.
