Atypical & Awesome “Some Rain Must Fall”

Michael’s high school graduation has been delayed until tomorrow due to inclement weather. While I know many families are disappointed, I am personally relieved. This week, while short, has been physically and emotionally draining. My day job, while rewarding, can be intense. Sometimes, I am absolutely “spent” at the end of the day. Then, there’s the world- the news, the heartbreaking elementary school shooting in Texas. Something about the rain today seems needed- a time to rest, cleanse, and regroup. Tomorrow, I will put on a blue dress and bask in the post-rain sweltering sun as Michael has his moment of glory along with 400 other amazing Enterprise High School graduates. But today, the rain will fall.
