Atypical & Awesome “Busy as a Bee”

I’m putting in the work- day gig, internship, grad school, music, comedy, health, family- it’s a lot! Four more weeks of internship and then I graduate- praise, glory! Work has been intense and I’ve developed sone nasty little health issues over recent months. So, I’ve made some changes- better hydration, more exercise, and eating healthier. I don’t like it but it has to happen. I bought a recumbent bike snd have put 36 miles on it since Saturday. I’m proud of this start but pray for me/ this is gonna be an uphill battle.

In more pleasant news, Autumn is coming this weekend and I’m so excited! I sure do miss our city girl. She’ll be staying with my parents and they, too are excited. We went to see my parents over the weekend and took my father a tomato pie for a belated birthday/Father’s Day surprise. Have you ever had a tomato pie? They are actually pretty good.

Phillip also took me out to a nice dinner Saturday night. I’d heard accolades about The Ginger Root in Samson but we’d never found time to go. I’m so glad we did. The food was good, the presentation was beautiful, and the hospitality was lovely. We’ll be back.

Comedy-wise- C&P will be hosting open- mic comedy this Saturday night at Happy Times in Ozark. We also have a new venue for comedy- the Cabaret Dothan Dance Club on Thursday July 18! We’re excited to help spread comedy over the Wiregrass! We have lots more to talk about soon! As always, thank you for your support!
