Atypical & Awesome “Kaleidoscope Days”

It has been a week of kaleidoscope days. Meaning- so many pieces of life blended together to create something beautiful. Tuesday evening, I attended the Taste of Coffee County which was fantastic. I brought home a ton of tasty “tastes” to share with Reagan as I got my boxes to go. We ate on them for three meals lol. Next year, Phillip MUST go with me (he was out of town). Major accolades to the Enterprise Altrusa Club for putting this together. It was VERY well done!

Our Autie B turned 26 on the 26th in Greece. I have loved every picture and text and know she created life-long memories and friendships. Oh, to be a young woman exploring the world. Makes my heart so happy!

We, like most of the southeast spent the week preparing for Hurricane Helene. We were very prepared but thankfully, we had no issues. Our friends to the northeast were not as lucky. We are keeping them In our thoughts snd prayers and are ready to assist when we can determine the best way to do so.

Saturday was all about football. I mean, ALL about football. Despite a few brushes with cardiac arrest, the Tide beat the Ga Bulldogs in a truly breathtaking win. This will be in the Crimson Tide history books. Plus, we ate good all day :)

Speaking of eating good.., we went out to celebrate Reagan’s and her boyfriend’s birthdays at Mikata. The show and food was fabulous and Michael was able to join us as well. It was a really sweet experience. Plus, there was fire so that was fun.

Autumn had serious drama in getting back home from Greece. After a lot of hoopla, she ended up flying to Geneva, Switzerland for a brief stay. From the Mediterranean to Switzerland- how do you pack for that? She texted me saying it was COLD- I would think so! But, thankfully she is home safe and sound.

That kaleidoscope keeps turning- can’t wait to see tomorrow’s ever-changing view!
