Atypical & Awesome, “Overflowing”

Currently, I am swimming in the current. Constant movement- not drowning but definitely swimming fervently. I have been promoted at work so I am training a new therapist to fill my former position while assuming new knowledge and responsibilities. I’m also changing offices which requires packing and your girl has stuff. Lots of stuff acquired over years and years.

Then, there’s the musical. We have rehearsal four nights a week. Sweat equity- lots of dancing- this has been such a learning experience. The show runs the first week of March with six performances. Whew- this has been a commitment but an invaluable opportunity to learn firsthand so I can dive deep into writing my own musical.I have been stretched physically and mentally- lol

And then…. Yall. So much everything. I have so much to share very soon- music news, comedy, all things. Tonight, I have my last online comedy writing class. I have been meeting with comics around the country via zoom on Wednesday evenings as we have tackled a comedy writing workbook together. It has been informative to see how other comics approach set writing and the creative process.
