Atypical & Awesome “Start Spreading the News”

Today is the day! Reagan’s last day of school and we are heading to NYC! I’n so excited to see Autie B! We’re staying Broadway and have tickets to see “Wicked” tomorrow night! Bucket list activated! I have new clothes, new underwear, and a new clutch- nothing’s gonna stop me now!

But first, I wanna backtrack and talk about a few things that have taken place while the blog was on hiatus. May 10 was a very difficult day for me for private reasons but oh, that night! Phillip and I (like many others) were able to see the Northern Lights in South Alabama! It was an overwhelming blessing! Phillip had also brought me these beautiful purple roses for our anniversary the next day. Purple roses and a purple sky- it was super sweet.

Unfortunately, the next morning we spent at the ER and we had to cancel our romantic weekend getaway. But Phillip gifted me with some sweet purple rose earrings. He’s so sweet. We ordered in and had a quiet weekend at home.

Sunday was Mother’s Day and Phillip spoiled me again. He’s such a good egg. The following week was one of the most stressful I have had in years. But this term in school is now behind me (I finished with a 4.0) and now I only have a nine week Internship left. This has been a journey and my own personal Mt. Everest but I’m almost there!
