Atypical & Awesome “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant”

Last night, Phillip and I attended an Open-Mic at Hoobler Music. The crowd was small but encouraging. At the end of the performances, the whole crowd migrated to Cafe Roma, a local Italian restaurant to support our girl, Alice Nelson in her debut performance there. Alice did a great job and sang a couple of songs we have cowritten together. We also got to see our friend Branton Spivey play a few songs. Branton is a special songwriter buddy who has grown tremendously as a writer and performer. The room was filled with folks I have come to know and love through the local music community. Phillip, Autumn, I are enjoying some great take out from there today. Life is full of random special moments if you just look.
