Blue Plate Blog Episode 11 Anniversary, Tea lights, and Where to eat

Entree- Well, it’s our four year anniversary today. We have definitely had our adventures as what I affectionally call our “blended with chunks” family. It hasn’t been easy and some days are outright hard but even the hard times are good times and we are blessed. We’re trying to figure out where to eat tonight. Restaurants are allowed to open for on-site dining at 5 pm tonight- perfect timing? Maybe.

First side: My husband and I have both worked throughout the pandemic and are both taking this week off for a much needed break. I cannot remember the last time this has happened when we were not on a trip somewhere. It is a little surreal.

Second side: The girls made us the sweetest anniversary breakfast complete with a tablescape adorned with a centerpiece and tea lights- super sweet.

Dessert- I get to be a part of a cool music project this week which will have me writing with a young artist- very excited!
