Atypical & Awesome “All Things Fall”

Seasonal candles are lit, potato soup is bubbling on the stove, Phillip is outside decorating the yard for Halloween, and we are going to a pumpkin patch later today. Yesterday, was all about SEC football. It is Autumn in the south!

Thursday night was a super special night as my father was inducted into the Geneva Sports Hall of Fame. He has given so much to Geneva through his years of service as as a school administrator- he deserves every accolade. He had a ball reminiscing and seeing old friends and former students. It was truly a sweet moment.

Friday was exciting in that AMPS had a new single release with Frank Fletcher’s “Cold, Dark Lonely” hitting streaming platforms. It was written by Frank Fletcher, Ben Byrd, Wes Brown, and AMPS’s own, Dennis Powell. WTVY even featured Frank and the new single on the evening news Friday! How cool is that???

Then- I received notice a song I cowrote is being recorded TOMORROW! Wow! What a great weekend for music!!!

Comedy-wise- we’ve got two open-mics this week! Monday night at The Social on Main in Enterprise and Thursday at Rumors Bar in Level Plains- woohoo- fun times, ahead!
