Atypical & Awesome “Recharge, Refuel, Refocus”

We had a much-needed “chill” weekend filled with football, 80’s movies, housework, good food, and schoolwork for me, We visited my parents, I practiced guitar, and had a great cowrite with Kristan Mikala. We didn’t get out for any live music this weekend but we tended the home fires.

I have a lot of grad school work this week on top of the day gig. Thursday night is the Prose and Poetry Event at Mural City Coffee. I plan to present but there is also another event going on simultaneously so I’m conflicted. Decisions, decisions.

Next week, C& P have two comedy events- Monday night at the Social on Main in Enterprise and then Thursday night at Rumors in Level Plains. Be sure to stop in for a drink and laughs.

September is gonna be a busy but quick month as we are gearing up for my favorite time of year. My Autie-B turns 25 this month and Reagan turns 15- can you even believe it? Time keeps on slipping into the future.
