Atypical & Awesome “Rabbit Hole”
Phillip and I and a kid or two are headed to an Alice in Wonderland Adventure- complete with costumes. Which remonds me, I wrote a poem a few years ago called, “Rabbit Hole”- I’ll post a link. How nice it would be to happen on a tea party in the forrest. What a magical tale- I feel like Alice on most days- not really sure what is going on and half the things I eat or drink get me in trouble- lol!
I’ve been working on Christmas music and plan to share a mash up of some of my favorites at a few local open-mics this month. I’m one of those people who truly love Christmas music. It’s just not Christmas until I hear Karen Carpenter song, “Merry Christmas, Darling”. I always envisioned adulthood as sultry music and glasses of wine in front of the fireplace and Christmas tree. It’s more Little Debbie snack cakes and the 47th showing of Christmas Vacation- and that’s okay, too.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I have extended my Black Friday prices through Dec. 5- surprise! Give your favorite songwriter the gift of mentorship and true, honest feedback! Message me at atypicalmusicpub@gmail.com.
