Atypical & Awesome “Yuling and NOLA”

Saturday was a busy day. I had grad school work followed by a visit to Whoville. Unfortunately, the bottom fell out when we arrived so we were drenched by the Grinch. All was not lost, however. I took Phillip for his first ALDI’s trip. We found the best gingerbread cookies ever, so it was a productive trip.

That evening, in the neatest Yule log making class hosted by Bryce Chlebek. We learned a little about the history of the Yule log and decorated beautiful black cherry tree logs, I made two- one for myself and one for my mom. They are beautiful! This may become a new tradition.

I have spent the past couple of days working hard to finish up things at the day gig as well as grad school work as Phillip and I are headed out for a lil getaway. As I mentioned last week, We are headed to NOLA today. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve been so I am both nervous and excited.

We plan to hit an open=mic or two so we will post details on our FB page as soon as we decide which way we are headed. We have a few options so be sure to follow us on C&P Comedy on FB!

As always. Thank you all,
