Blue Plate Blog Episode 18-“Gypsies, Drama, Reality TV”

Entree: Wanderlust, a love for flowy tops and beads, intuition, mystery, Fleetwood Mac, and incense are blended together to make up a large part of me. But I am also easy to read at times. I am a free-spirit- on a schedule. I am back in my work routine today which makes me happy to an extent as I do appreciate structure and productivity. But I am a gypsy- if only in my soul. I think perhaps I am a blend of a feather in the wind and a bookmark. Freedom and structure all at once.

First side: My very profession as a therapist has me right smack in the middle of human nature. I get paid to deal with drama so I have no desire to deal with it for free in my personal life. Drama-free is the way to be. Someone make me a t-shirt.

Second side: I’m not really a fan of reality tv talent shows due to reasons I won’t express here. However, we did follow AI this year as I had a friend make the top 21. The overall winner is a true subway to center stage story and I truly hope things work out for her. The entertainment world can be a vicious place.

Dessert: it has been raining today. The sound of rain on pavement (when I’m not driving) is one of my favorite sounds. It reminds me of my childhood- laying in bed listening to the rain outside. It truly is one of life’s little luxuries. Have a beautiful day, dear ones- until tomorrow, Order’s up!
