Atypical & Awesome “Autumn”

Today, my Autumn turns 23. She has been a big help to me this week as I have attended several networking events. Wednesday, we attended a Fall Wine and Dessert Tasting at Corks and Cattle where Alice Nelson was performing. She also accompanied me last night at Cafe Roma to see Ben Flournoy- an amazing 15 year old singer- songwriter. She has been a great help! Friday night, I performed publicly for the first time in a long, long time. i participated in Hoobler Music’s Open Mic. i performed, “Poison or Perfume” and “Beyond Grace”. Alice stopped by and performed, “Girlfriend” and one of her new solo writes, “Unapologetically “ which was stellar. Afterwards, it was over to Cafe Roma to support Jimmy Harris who does a great classic country and has some colorful tales as he used to play with Charlie Rich. So, a lot of music this weekend. Autumn and I also hit up the Farmer’s Market yesterday and went to see my parents, sister, and nephew today. We also celebrated Autumn’s birthday with a big brunch this morning and a taco bar tonight. It’s been a full weekend and we are blessed :)
