Atypical & Awesome “Good Night”

September- at least the second half has been incredibly hard. I am so grateful for a “good” night. It kinda happened against the odds. I got home a little behind schedule due to a road blockage and picking up my “free” coffee in honor of National Coffee Day. I thought about picking up take-out as I had choir practice tonight. However, I opted to save take-out for tomorrow night when I will be even more pushed for time. I had thawed a pork loin and this morning before work, I googled a recipe for Sweet and Sour pork. With some slight modifications and help from Autumn, we pulled it together and it was really good! Very glad I stuck with cooking at home tonight. Choir practice was really good, too as we had a great turnout and starting working on our Christmas cantata tonight. Have I mentioned how much I love Christmas music? Phillip picked up caramel apples for me to take my kids at work tomorrow for a treat. It ended up being a really good night. We needed it.
