Atypical & Awesome, “Mel’s and Sourdough Bread”
Phillip and I started our day at the Farmer’s Market yesterday. We found tomatoes, avocado, field peas, cherries, banana pudding poundcake, and fresh baked sourdough bread. It was a successful haul :)
Last night, we had our show at Mel’s Hideaway. The crowd was there to celebrate a 50th birthday and the party was disco themed. We enjoyed the costumes and revelry. Phillip and I did our sets, played a few rounds of pool, and then headed to Rumors in Level Plains to see the Alice Nelson Band.
I was hungry and we both started crashing fast so we left and came home to eat and go to bed. Today, I finished up some grad school work, lit one of my favorite candles, and had some of that sourdough bread dipped in melted butter and Italian seasonings- yum.
I also brewed some authentic English tea. There’s nothing better on a rainy day than tea, pjs, and candles.
Two more weeks of practicum. Getting there. Thank you all for your support and love as always.
