Atypical & Awesome “Lucky Charms in Bed”

Life is tough. A lot of days are hard. Really hard. I am definitely no stranger to the rain and here lately, it has been pouring. But yesterday was great. Not without some stress but for the most part- pretty perfect. A great breakfast at home, getting our taxes done (remember the stress part?), grabbing coffee with my sweetheart, making enchiladas, buying a few presents, attending a baby shower, seeing friends I haven’t seen in a while, and watching the Winter Olympics (ice skating and snowboarding)- oh, and also had a great phone chat with my college kid and lit my seasonal romantic candles. Super sweet Saturday and much needed. This morning, I’m eating Lucky Charms in bed and will soon get up , dress for church, and sing in the choir. I’ll cook a good homemade dinner, do laundry, and rehearse for an upcoming spoken word performance and Galentine’s show next week. Life is busy and changing fast. I’m savoring the good morsels when they come. Have a beautiful Sunday, friends.
