Atypical & Awesome “This Too Shall Pass”

It’s been a rough “season” for me. This year has been tough on many fronts and I have had some type of virus/flu for the past few days. I miss getting out and seeing live music but sometimes my body says, STOP. So, been resting a lot (when I’m not working).

Today, I have some grad school work to do and I plan to cook some food for the Super Bowl tonight. Phillip is excited to support Jalen Hurts and Devonte Smith (Roll Tide!). I think I might even bake a Valentine’s cake- might as well celebrate everything at once since Phillip will be gone on Valentine’s Day.

So there are several events coming up this week I may participate in depending on how I feel. Monday- Comedy open-mic at The Social in Enterprise. Tuesday- Wiregrass Museum of Art’s Write Night at 6 pm and Play the Cafe at Mural City Coffee in Dothan- Alice Nelson will be playing 🥰, and Thurs night at 8 pm is the big Valentine’s Hangover Comedy Show which i am on the bill- so come out and support these events if you can.

This “storm” isn’t fun but it will pass. You all have a beautiful Sunday.
