Atypical & Awesome “So this is Christmas- 2023 version”

A simmer pot of dried oranges, apples, and cranberries are on the stove. I have a huge mug of hot buttered rum coffee. The house is quiet for a moment as I take time to reflect on this most special day.

Christmas Eve is the most magical of the year for me. It is a day of anticipation and hope and even more exciting than Christmas Day in many ways. This year our emphasis has been on family and faith. We have worked so hard and gone thrpugh so many changes this year, I just want to hold our family close and soak up gratitude for this year- the good, the bad, and the beautiful.

I will get into all these changes in a later blog. While I have been quiet on the blog this week, we have been working hard on interviews and booking dates for 2024 so get ready for updates. But first, we reflect and take time to enjpy our family and to celebrate the birth off Jesus. I absolutely cannot make it without Him. We are so incredibly blessed- Merry Christmas from our home to yours.
