Atypical & Awesome “Very Much So”

Things are nuts. Atypical. Awesome. Nuts. At this very moment ,my 19 year old niece and 23 year old daughter are in Toronto. By a weird twist of fate, their paths intersected tonight and they’ll get to spend tonight together in Toronto. Caroline, my niece flew into Toronto from Greece and Autumn landed in Toronto today for a work conference. Caroline’s connecting flight to Atlanta was cancelled (rebooked for tomorrow) and the airline was out of hotel vouchers so they allowed Caroline to leave. By chance (or divine intervention, if you will) Autumn got to Toronto seamlessly and has a huge room to herself. A 30 minute Lyft ride (and a hard 17 hour day) later, Caroline is now at Autumn’s hotel. How nuts is that?

The summer solstice, the full-moon, the planets visible in the sky- the midsummer- it’s all very Shakespearian. So much. I’m going back to graduate school at the age of 48, I have another cut as a publisher dropping Friday, and Tom Cruise has a blockbuster. Life is a wild gig.
