Atypical & Awesome “Week or Two in Review”

Welcome- have a seat, let’s catch up. I have had a crazy, busy few weeks. My day gig as a therapist for teenage boys is enough to keep me on my toes and the past few weeks have been nuts- for a lack of a better term. But I wouldn’t trade it most days.

My other life- the music one, has been busy as well. I have been hunkering down and working on my guitar chops and have been working on more solo writes as well as continuing to cowrite. A couple of years ago, I started South Alabama Songwriters- we had our last meeting of the year earlier this week. I’m so proud of the growth of our members as far as developing their individual skillsets. I also have a new project prospect so that has me excited.

Choir practice has started back at church and I am a front row soprano-lol! We are currently working on a song in Latin and that is a challenge for this country girl :) We are about to start working on Christmas music which I adore. Plan to be writing some more holiday music in the weeks to come.

It’s my favorite time of year. We went to a corn maze last night which included a hayride under the stars. The weather was perfect and he held my hand- it never gets old. May just have to write a song about that ❤️

Have a wonderful Saturday- find me on most social media platforms and please “like” and “share” with your friends- xoxo
