Atypical & Awesome “January Recap”
What a January! January has historically been a tough one for me but this year has actually been very good. A quick look back… I turned 50 and C&P celebrated their 50th show! Saban retired and the state of Alabama froze over. Phillip and I went to Birmingham to see Tool and had brunch with Alex on the way back (and got some Salem hugs!). Michael moved out into a great house with some friends and we now have just one kid at home. I received an unexpected and much needed deposit. I had a great publishing meeting with a duo I may represent and just got asked about being a part of a new project for another artist, yesterday. Oh, and Phillip and i were featured on a podcast and I waS also interviewed for a different online show and a local media outlet.
Also, I’ve continued to work my tail off at the day gig and in grad school. If all stays on course, I will have my second Master’s degree in six months with licensing to follow shortly thereafter. I’m working hard, yall. I am grateful to God, my husband, my family, candles, and Sapphire. They all help keep me sane! And I am grateful to YOU. As always, thank you for being a part of this journey. Bring a water bottle and a snack because we aren’t through!
